Christmas Wreaths and Garlands You Will Love

As we seek to increase our connection with the outdoors, we have seen an increase in Natural Decor-

Whether you are greeting your guests at the door or serving dinner and cocktails this holiday, you will want to also decorate your house to welcome them and celebrate the season. Consider adding natural elements indoors for seasonal scent and beauty.

Take a look.

The music is playing and the boxes of decorations are out of the attic.  For me, December is all about welcoming friends and family and celebrating the advent of Christmas.

Adding Holiday Decor Creates Happiness At Home

Yes, there is a connection between holiday decor and happiness!

Spending time changing up your environment will add joy, intrigue, and a dose of dopamine. Liven up your decor with the wonderful scents of natural fresh garlands and wreaths, along with blooming seasonal flowers, and you have the perfect ingredients for a natural lift indoors.

This year I am enamored with Eucalyptus with its very soft scent and affordability.  I have long enjoyed the tradition of Fresh Magnolia, boxwood, and bay leaves, as my go-to chic and festive decor, but this year I am seeing more Eucalyptus, and Olive wreaths and I must say, the smell is soft and divine.

We love how Cyndi at the Creativity Exchange incorporated natural elements and played with scale using large pinecones, fresh Magnolia, Eucalyptus, and Juniper accented by a soft slate blue velvet ribbon for the front door of her Home.  ( see below for resources.) The results are a beautiful entry for the Holidays. Elevate your décor and feel the bliss.

GOING GREEN: I incorporate lots of greens into holiday decor. MY love for magnolia leaves stems from my love for entertaining with southern hospitality and the beautiful waxy green leaves with golden underleaf colors that highlight the pinecones and wood tones of the home.

Enjoy our selection of decorative wreaths and topiaries including colorful and natural floral greenery and door wreaths. Enjoy

PS. Tips for keeping your foliage fresh

  • HOW TO KEEP MY GREENS LOOKING FRESH THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS: Soaking your greens in the bathtub overnight once you receive them will freshen them for longer life.

  • HOW LONG WILL FRESH FOLIAGE LAST? Most pieces will last for 2-3 weeks.

  • MISTING THE LEAVES AND NEEDLES WITH KEEP THEM INTACT LONGER. Mist the front and back of pieces.

  • WHAT TO SPRAY ON MY GREENS TO KEEP THEM IN TOP SHAPE FOR THE HOLIDAY: One home hack to consider is to use hairspray to keep everything looking fresh throughout the holiday. Everyone has some hairspray on hand that will help to keep the greens intact. Spray when flowers are fresh, in 3 layers, allowing drying time between applications. . Another great product with better results is to purchase WILT STOP, this is what the pros use.
