In this Rye, NY carriage cottage renovation, classic architectural character meets the clean energy of modern living. Designed for a young family, the space balances traditional craftsmanship with a streamlined, refreshed color palette that feels bright and effortless. Classic, high-quality materials like the 2” Danby marble countertops honor the home's historic roots while providing the everyday durability a busy household needs. Soft, contemporary neutrals and crisp finishes transform a historic structure into a warm, light-filled gathering spot. It is a thoughtful design solution that gives a cherished old space new life for years to come.
