The Maker Creator Series is my monthly series where I celebrate the makers, artists, interior designers, and creators I admire. Many times we get to see a fresh perspective on a craft or the design business. From furniture design to color forecasting, I hope these pieces will spark some joy.
Meet the Maker: Brenda Bogart
Today, we’re chatting with Brenda Bogart, an artist who not only creates these amazing collage collection from her studio in Dallas, Texas, but she also has another passion, her local Dallas food bank, and local Jubilee Park and Community Center. She is very passionate about giving back. Twice a year she is teaching is a collage workshop at the Community Center to raise money, and her class sells out in the day of being posted!

A strong focal point is important in any room, and classic timeless rooms are always well appointed with art.
Focal points give the eye a place to rest. Pull together the colors of the room and the accessories with the right wall art panels. These are primarily collages, an artistic composition made of various materials with a 3 dimensional quality that delights the eye.
MEET THE ARTIST: Brenda Bogart
I remember the first time I saw Brenda’s work, I stopped and paused with a smile as I visually devoured her creations. Every one of them, pet portraits, a series of strong women, and her beautifully layered landscapes collages. The more I looked, the more intrigued I became. Every character has its own personality. If you scroll through, then you may agree. Brenda Bogart is an artist who is known for her lively portraits in oil on canvas and mixed media collages. Her artwork is available at BluePrint Contemporary Gallery.
Brenda Bogart is a talented collage artist who started her career in Interior Design, designing beautiful homes and curating her client’s environments. But her heart has drawn her to creating art that exudes color and layers with painting and collage dimensionality.
Brenda’s favorite medium is collage which she describes as painting with paper. The results are colorful cut-paper collages that draw you in with their charm.
